The monument dedicated to the fisherman

Located on the point where the frontsea promenade joints the southern pier of the harbour, this monument represents the fishermen's outfit during storms, or when, in order to drive attention on the dangers of the impending fog on the sea, they used their horn.

It is a work by Cleto Capponi, an artist from Grottammare who let various evidences of his art in paintings, sculptures and pieces of pottery.
